"DRIVEN BY THE MUSIC " DONNA SUMMER ART EXHIBITION - OCT 18, 2003

It was unbelievable! We had the best time at the opening. I got to talk with Donna about her painting. She was most gracious and interested. The new lithographs are about "Four Seasons of Love." They are tied into the album. They are based on Driven By The Music. The new lithos feature new colorings and hand markings for "Spring Affair," "Summer Fever," and "Autumn Changes." 

In attendance were Ceil and Al Kasha, Bernice Altschul, and Susan Munao along with Bruce and Brooklyn. Celebrities there included Charlene Tilton, Daisy Fuentes, and Mario Lopez. There was a long red carpet out front to enter. E! Hollywood was there, as well as a lot of other media. There were a lot of remarked lithographs featured, where Donna has gone back and used acrylic to add features to the originals. Quite updated and very personal. Also, numerous originals were there, including Tokyo Love Story, Boss's Wife, Star Man, Barbra's Face, and a couple of others that I can't remember.

According to the gallery owner, Keith, Donna will be making several appearances over the weekend of November 20 in Las Vegas, where they have another gallery at The Venetian.
