A
REVIEW BY EDUARD - PHOTOS BY BOBBY (used under kind
permission)
In my years of being a real FAN-atic with Donna I never thought she would be so close. Mardi Gras / Universal in Orlando was a real
dream. I took my spouse of 20 years to see the show of a
lifetime.
It was a little past 9:30p.m. after all the beads were caught and the Mardi Gras entertainers began working the crowd into shouting
"Donna, Donna, Donna!" as loud as we could, so she could listen to her demanding servants chanting her
name.
All of a sudden, a roar of thunder, lightening struck the
stage! There she was in a burgundy evening gown with little circular design, and it all
began. "MacArthur Park" was springing in the
air. Donna's voice was so pristine as she began with her big colgate
smile, long wavey brunette hair, hips swinging side to
side.

There were 2 large screens opposite to the stage. You could not miss any
action. Once done with the "MacArthur Park Suite", it was "I Feel
Love" and "This Time I Know It's For Real". It was for real! She was right in front just a few
yard's away. She continued on to sing "Could It Be
Magic". Beautiful sireness touch. Never done live
before.
After those songs were belted, La Donna was getting personal about her boyfriend experience and the
"Red Ferrari". Here a letter is written and talked about
"On The Radio". During the prelude, dancers show up and Donna is strutting her thing to the latino
beat. Salsa baby! The crowd laughed as she talked about her Versace jacket and the $20,000 dollars she found inside a pocket which was splurged on everything Donna
style. Then it was about how she met her man and the final experiences after taking the Ferrari for a long ride. Leave that up to your
discretion.

That turned into the "My Man Medley". She and Mary sang an outstanding rendition of "No More Tears
(Enough is Enough). Next thing, Donna walked off to the change tent and there was a little break for Bruce to introduce the band and their musical
abilities. Donna returns on stage in a black gown to sing "Hot
Stuff", "She Works Hard For The Money" with 5 male
dancers. I thought that was a working woman's song. Oh well, they made her look good on
stage.
Donna then continued to sing her latest songs from the Journey CD and finalized the night with
"Last Dance". It was a dream that turned into reality. In the morning I woke up to notice it was all over. Oh No! Not another
wait. Hopefully, she won't retire leaving us stranded in time. She should depart stylish like Cher or Tina
did. :>)
