Dear
Donna,
How's
everything? I read your recent message and realized that you're still
shocked with all the tragedies that took place last September.
As
a devoted fan, I'd like to tell you that God will always take care of us
and He is the only one who knows exactly what life on Earth is meant to.
So, never lose your faith in Him nor in
people's good will.
You
have a very special gift that's to spread love and peace through your
music.
Certainly
as a fan but as another human being too, I ask you to never stop singing.
You once said that out on the stage is where you belong. I'm sure it is because that unique bright in your eyes shows
it. So, Donna, carry on with your mission of love!
Lots
of love to you and all your family,

Dear
Donna,
As
usual, it's always wonderful to hear from you whether it be the radio or
your email greetings. Your decision to sit back and listen for guidance
from the Holy Spirit is a wonderful lesson for us all.
Just think what a wonderful world it would be if we all took time
to listen.
I
trust Spirit will not keep you out of the limelight too long...
The world is in desperate need of light, love, joy and peace, which
is what you are.
The
Empress which is you was born for the perfect expression of God which you
are.
Donna,
you are loved and adored! Please
rest up, renew, re-invent yourself and come back to us soon.
Love,
From;
Raymond

Dear
Donna,
This
is the first time I have the chance to write you a letter. First of all I
have to say that English is not my native language but I want to send this
letter to you to express how I love you and how I admire you.
Three
years ago I saw you in concert at Ceasars Palace in Atlantic City and you
were Great as always. I used
to live in your country (in the year 1999 and 2000) and it was the most
important time in all my life. I wish to see you and to hear you again
just like the rest of your million of fans in all over the world does.
I
wish you the best,
with
all of my love ,

spécialement de vos fans.

Dear
Donna,
I just read your latest message on Forever True. I know that the Lord will provide all that you need as you seek him. You are an immense
talent, a beautiful person, and an inspiration.
One of the most touching moments in my life was meeting you at a church in West Haven, CT in 1990. Above and beyond my delight in meeting you was opening my eyes when I went up for prayer to find you standing next to me receiving prayer for yourself. It put you in a whole new light to me appreaciating you as a sister in the Lord overshadowing the persona I had been so used to.
It was your testimnony after singing "Forgive Me" in 1983 which led me to seek the Lord. I have been a Christian for over 15 years and you and your family are always in my heart and my prayers!
All my best to you and may God watch over you and your loved ones with his angelic protection. God Bless You and I look forward to your new music and your return to the stage.
A devoted fan.

Dear Donna " My
Friend Unknown"
I hope my story stands
out to you because you have played such an important role in my life with
your music and message. With live and More being the first album that I
ever had, because of my MOM wanted to hear MacArthur's Park".
I would play the entire
Album and something started to happen. Everyday after school I would rush
home to put on the Album and I could not get enough of your voice. I found
myself listening with my headphones for hours to your music.
As I started to go thru
my teenage years I faced numerous problems growing up but unlike some of
my friends...I did not turn to drugs or drink. I would go and sit in my
car and play your music to help calm me down. I knew that your voice would
help ease whatever problem I was having and it always worked. Music was my
drug you you were the dealer!!!
Well Donna over 20 years
later the passion is there and as I listen to your music over and over
again I seem to get something new out of each song like hearing it for the
first time. Thank you so much for the solice that you have brought me and
I look forward to the wonderfull music to come.
Love your "Friend
Unkown"
Jeff

Maravilhosa....
Obs. Também sou cantora e sempre que canto, interpreto alguma de suas
muitas canções.

Donna,
carrera.

Hi
Donna.
I have loved your music for a long time. I hate to say I am a "fan", because, I really am not in the true sense of the word... I love your voice and music, but, although I had the chance to meet you through a friend , years ago, that is not something I would do. I respect you and understand that you are a singer and that is your job, and when you are not "working" you should be able to be yourself, just like the rest of us.

My Dear Donna,
I just wanted to let you know, I have been a 'Donna Summer' fan, lover, admirer, etc., ever since I bought my very first record: a Donna Summer LP - 'Four Seasons of Love'. Since that time (1976) I have now bought every single album you have officially released over the last 26 years.
Quite sadly, I have never been fortunate enough to see you perform live in concert, but I can't believe there is anyone, be it fan or friend, who loves you any more than (maybe even as much as) I do!
In the beginning, my friends and family thought I was mad and that it was a childish teenage crush and infatuation that was a phase that would eventually pass. But after 26 years - I love Donna even more than I have ever done before.
I joined your official 'Donna Summer Fan Club' back in 1981, that was presided by Mary E Gaines (and have the certificate, several official
'Harry Langdon' © David Geffen Company photos, signed form letters and Newsletters, etc., to prove it!). But because I have moved around quite a bit over the years, I lost touch with the Fan Club.
Through each of your earlier records: 'Love Trilogy', 'Four Seasons of Love", 'Once Upon A Time', and so on, I fell in love with that unique 'munich sound' , the munich team at MusicLand Studios, The Munich Machine; Giorgio Moroder, Pete Bellotte, Thor Baldursson, Juergen
Kopppers, Allen Zentz, Keith Forsey, Les Hurdle, Geoff Bastow, Mats Bjorklund, Dino Solera, etc., etc., etc.
My love for you has grown by leaps and bounds over the years with every new recording of yours that I buy. And I can honestly say that (although I have never met you in person, & chances are that I may never do - I live in England) I love you more than I have ever loved anyone in my whole life (including any of my family, sad I know, but true ).
In my dreams I have kissed your lovely darling face a thousand times and walked hand in hand with you for miles and miles. And, God as my witness, I will love you for as long as I live and breathe, and
forever after.
In those quiet moments when you stop to think of, and quietly give thanks to, those fans of yours that have stuck by you all through your recording career, through thick and thin, through the prolific years and not so prolific years, know that I am one of those fans you'd be thanking, and thinking of. You may never get to meet me, but know that you have my undying, unconditional love for the rest of your life and
mine.
Most Sincerely,
Victor (London, England)

Donna,
It's so hard to tell you something new,
something that you've never heard before! Well, what to say? You have a incredible voice given by our Lord and I know
you have this notion of how precious is to have Jesus taking care of our lives. I am not worried bout telling you that some of your songs don't sound good in God's ears but I know you've banished them. I really love you as a singer and also as a human being. I grew up listening to your songs and I will never be tired of listen to them. Why don't you record a
CD with Mahalia's songs? I know she will be very proud of that! Think bout it? You have a special place in the heart of this brazilian fan. God bless
you!

I have been a Donna Summer Fan
from the very beginning. She stole my heart when I was 14 and I still scream when one of her songs comes on the radio.
I have seen Donna countless times in concert and had the privilege of meeting her at a church in Connecticut prior to the release of "Mistaken Identity".It was a moment I will always remember.
I majored in illustration during my college years and at every opportunity my subject matter was
always,"Donna".
Everyone I meet eventually becomes a fan because they are exposed to all of her music and videos.
I look forward to her new release and seeing her again in concert. Her God-given voice and beauty seem to improve with time and she will always hold a special place in my
heart. Ron.
